26 - Tame the Alpha (The Losing Game)The normal and natural planes attract different types. Beta males are more drawn toward the normal sexual plane, whereas alpha males are drawn toward the natural.

The reasons for this should be fairly obvious. Since a beta male has fewer sexual options than an alpha, he will more highly regard the importance of fencing a female into an exclusivity agreement.

Alpha males, on the other hand, (who have more sexual options), gravitate to the natural plane and are far less concerned about fencing in a female.

Men will have the same biological imperative (having sex with lots of fertile women), regardless of whether they initially choose a fenced or an unfenced relationship, and regardless of whether they are alpha or beta.

Alpha males gravitating toward the natural plane and away from enforced monogamy provide a challenge that women find irresistible---this challenge is called “tame-the-alpha.”

Beta males who are offering a woman what she claims she wants (security and a fenced relationship) are often confused by this dynamic and mistakenly think that they’re offering women what they truly desire.

The confusion is clarified by understanding that the lure of being with an alpha, along with the challenge of tame-the-alpha, is what she really wants.

A beta offering a fenced relationship, outright and with no challenge, is offering neither of those things, and so is not offering her what she really wants.

If you’ve ever felt befuddled by why women go after bad boys and not nice guys, then wonder no more.

If you’re a guy, don’t misread the map at this point and think that it’s about nice guys vs. bastards.

It’s not; it’s alpha vs. beta, which means strong, confident and dominant vs. weak and supplicating.

The confusion on people’s maps is because bad boys or bastards exhibit more alpha characteristics and are not weak and supplicating--but don’t let that confuse you.

Women don’t enjoy being treated poorly, but at the same time they also despise weakness in men because that just goes directly against their primary imperative.

You can be strong and dominant without treating women poorly. You don’t need to be a bastard to be an alpha.
